 Team Roster
Aside from the team webpage being updated (I assume it will be), I think it would be cool to see a full team roster with racing age and catagories.
Is anyone working on this?

If someone steps up and gathers the necessary info, of course I'll update the roster. Wanna volunteer to do this? Clearly you'll have to coordinate with Geoff and Liz. And I'd prefer to receive an Excel (XLS) or CSV file.

Is there any talk about updating the team site, for race results, new members, etc.? It looks like it's about 6-8 months old at this point, at least. Do we pay someone out of our membership dues to update the site, or how does that work?

I agree with you sentaments. It reflects poorly on the team but our racing does not. It is my understanding that it is on a pro bono basis. May I recommend that the team cough up some money to pay Alfie to update it. Does any one second that motion, ..... All those in favor?

So, Alfie get's comp'd dues and kit...which still isn't all that much. The question is, how much does it cost to have the site updated regularly?
Also, when are we going to get the "newletter" out?
Now that folks are complaining...
Maybe some additional members will step up and start helping run the club. So far it's been Geoff, Liz, Tom, and Karen pretty much exclusively, for 2+ years. I'm burnt, Geoff's probably burnt....I know Karen is too...and Liz has a new baby to deal w/ so she probably toasted on both sides. I'm not saying that nobody else does club work...but we four do, do the bulk of it.
I love this club, and I certainly don't want to see it founder due to apathy. So please, everybody pitch in where and when you can.
We are entering the time of year when we need to re-up w/ ALL of our sponsors. If you've brought a sponsor on previously, please follow up w/ them ASAP about 2007. We need SIGNED contracts. I will spend some of my vacation time next week updating the sponsorship proposal, so we should have a good 2007 version by 9/25.

Need some new blood stepping up to plate.

Any one want to share a duty for the club.
What assignments are there.

Being a contributor of photos for the site (and exec committee member) - It is great to see enthusiam regarding the update of the club site. I've gone through many of the other team sites I would agree there areas that we can improve. I need to submit some the pictures I have taken recently.
Honestly,a key component of a a good and regularly updated site is CONTENT. (I don't mean to speak for our webmaster-so Alfie please correct me if I am wrong)
The webmaster role, that Alfie has so graciously fulfilled, provides a conduit for us to "maintain" the site, however it is the responsiblity of club to provide the CONTENT. With the # of club members we have it would be helpful for a couple of volunteers to support the club by being Content Owners for our website. This includes stats, page content, etc..
If you are interested in being a content owner please let me know. I can help get you connected.
