I know the club list has been down the past few days. I've just been able to restore services, so you should be able to see messages trickling in again.

It appears something last week basically overloaded the resources on the server. And since you guys have a history of yakking a lot on this list, I think it's time to move this list off the server to something more appropriate for high-volume list use: specifically, Google. Yahoo Groups was the other candidate since it's already immensely popular, but to me a less desirable solution because of its more conspicuous advertising content.

I will be migrating the list to Google in the next few days. You MAY get an email saying suggesting you have to confirm your membership on the list or something like that. Or not. But if you do, take necessary steps suggested to make sure you continue to get club list email.

I'll send details out on the new email address to use for posting, and other pertinent information once this is all set up.
